Your dreams of an ‘All That’ feature film just may be dashed. Amanda Bynes made the Twitterverse do a double take over the weekend by announcing that she is retiring from acting.

At age 24.

“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem,” the star of TV’s ‘What I Like About You‘ and the gender-bending movie ‘She’s the Mantweeted.

“If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it,” she later elaborated. “I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.”

“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired,” she concluded.

Bynes, whose credits also include TV’s ‘The Amanda Show’ and ‘Hairspray’ (her last major film role), perhaps last can be seen acting in the movie ‘Easy A,’ to be released in the fall.

What do you think of this announcement? Is Bynes being too hard on herself?
