See you on another show, brotha! ‘Lost‘ alum Henry Ian Cusick is joining NBC’s ‘Law & Order: SVU‘ this coming season for at least two episodes.

Cusick will play Erik Weber, a graphic artist who may or may not have designs (see what I did there?) on Mariska Hargitay‘s Detective Benson.

“There might be some flirtation,” ‘SVU’ boss Neal Baer tells TV Guide Magazine. “[W]e’ll see how it goes.”

Baer tells the mag he cast Cusick (who on ‘Lost’ played Desmond Hume) because he is “a sharp, smart leader and very charismatic.”

What say you, ‘SVU’ fans? In the absence of a Benson/Stabler pairing, would Cusick get your vote as Hargitay’s new on-screen hook-up?
