What To Watch: Tuesday

TOP PICK:Losing It With Jillian‘ (8pm ET on NBC)

Part of a large, close-knit Cuban extended family, David Sr. and Carmen Alvarez have an obstacle in their way that they need to overcome in the first-season finale. Their 9-year-old son, David Jr., is already pre-diabetic and on his way to health complications due to his weight. Unfortunately, David Sr. is also overweight, but he fails to see it as a problem that needs to be fixed, which proves to be a bad influence on his son who idolizes him. In order to help the family succeed, Jillian takes the parents on a boat to get them to open up about their health and lack of communication which hopefully will kick-start a new way of life for them.

KEY EPISODE:If You Really Knew Me‘ (11pm on MTV)

This new MTV series reflects the drama and authentic life struggles of high school – whether it’s fitting into different cliques or struggling for acceptance and support from peers and family. The students from these different cliques come together in a series of challenges and learn how they are similar in many surprising ways.

WATCH:Gene Simmons Family Jewels‘ (9pm on A&E)

In the 100th episode of this hit A&E real-life series, Gene and the family find themselves hundreds of miles apart while Gene is on tour with KISS. Always on a quest to try new and exciting things, Shannon and her sister Tracy follow up skydiving with what they hope will be a little mellower – a road trip to see KISS play out of state. Of course, when these two get together nothing is that simple.

DVR:Pretty Little Liars‘ (8pm on ABC Family)

In the aftermath of the disastrous homecoming dance, the girls try to sort out the devastation that is left behind. Parents, boyfriends (secret ones, possible ones and current ones), siblings and friends are all in flux, and if the little liars don’t act fast, the situation could go from bad to worse. And to top it off, the girls are sitting on some killer information about Toby that some people would die to get their hands on.

DVR:Teen Mom‘ (10pm on MTV)

Told firsthand by cast members from season one, the series will give viewers a deeper look into the first and second year into motherhood and depict the varied challenges young mothers face, balancing adult responsibilities, while trying to hold on to a semblance of teenage life.
