NBC’s ‘Parenthood‘ will stage an itty-bitty ‘Dirty Sexy Money‘ reunion this coming season when Billy Baldwin comes on board this season in the recurring role of Adam’s boss – meaning fellow ‘DSM’ alum Peter Krause will be reporting to him.
Is this pairing of Nick George and Patrick Darling pure coincidence? Or can Krause claim some credit for the casting?
“I did toss his name out,” Krause tells Fancast. “I thought he’d be perfect for it, and I’m very happy that hes coming aboard. He was fantastic on ‘Dirty Sexy Money.'”
‘Parenthood’ executive producer Jason Katims revealed to the press on Tuesday that Baldwin’s character will not only lord over Adam Braverman, but also be a possible romantic interest for Sarah (played by Lauren Graham), who soon will be working under her big bro.
Is Baldwin – who occasionally got to spar with Krause on ‘DSM’ – up for the task of cracking the whip at Adam? “He is definitely up to the task,” Krause asserts. “I’m looking forward to having him here.”
‘Parenthood’ launches its second season on Tuesday, September 21.
