Julia Roberts Reveals Her ‘Larry Crowne’ Co-Star: Biff Henderson

Julia Roberts stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman this week to promote her latest film Eat Pray Love, and the conversation ranged from her running a marathon to a running gag about vericose veins.

Along the way, the movie she’s currently making with Tom Hanks, who is also writing and directing the film Larry Crowne, came up, and she revealed that Dave’s longtime producer Biff Henderson has a small part in it as well.

There was also a brief mention of Dave’s continuing marital woes when discussing the emotional moments in Eat Pray Love. After mentioning a moving scene with Richard Jenkins as the one that affected him, he said “That scene right there, that was – call the police, you know what I’m saying?” Julia responded with “Call the David Letterman Tear Police, otherwise known probably as Mrs. Letterman. That’s when your wife swoops in and says ‘Baby, it’ll be okay.”

Dave’s response? “Yeah, that don’t happen so much.”
