You’ve got to give it to Kourtney Kardashian: She stands by her man. Though she admits it’s hard to see moments like her baby daddy Scott Disick’s drunken shenanigans on last week’s episode of ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,’ she does say that something good can come out of it.

“It’s definitely hard to watch those hard times back,” Kourtney told us at the E!/Comcast party at the Television Critics Association Press Tour Friday night. “And it’s not a normal way to live, that you have to re-live moments and have a million people re-living them with you and telling you their opinion about it on Twitter [laughs].”

But Kourtney’s not fretting. She’s holding true to her beliefs. “I think I’m really strong in who I am and in the decisions I make for myself and for my family. I just have to own and do what makes me happy,” she adds.

Sister Kim Kardashian calls it therapeutic to watch those moments back. “For Kourtney, she might look at that episode and say, ‘Okay, we don’t want to get back to this place, everything is going so great.’ Or Scott could look back and say, ‘Okay you know I didn’t like what was going on then and I love the place that I am in now and I just want to stay here.'”

She continues: “I think it’s actually good therapy because usually when you have an issue, you can have it in your normal life and then let it go. But here you can’t because you see it all over the place and you see people Twittering you about it and blogs, so you can’t really escape it. So it’s actually a good way to deal with your problems.”

Other than more Kourtney and Scott drama, season five of the Kardashian’s other E! reality show – ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians‘ – will focus on Kim flying solo. “You’ll see me for the first time ever living the single life and living it up and being by myself and being on dates. You know, I’ve always been kind of in a relationship since we started,” giggles Kim. “I’m having a lot of fun. Let’s just say that. I feel like I haven’t been in this place in years, so I’m just having a lot of fun. And, I’m diving into work. There are so many work projects and I’m being selfish right now. It’s all about me and work and I think everyone at some point in their lives deserves to be selfish.”

Mom Kris interjects: “She’s an opera singer: me, me, me, me, me.”

Speaking of Kris, she has a new job next season. E! News Chief Correspondent Ken Baker explains: “She is managing a girl group. They are called the BG 5. They used to be called the Beach Girls. She’s going to be managing the BG 5.”

‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ returns for season five on August 22.
