For hair extensions, boxing gloves, and 4/5 of the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ it seems that the Reality TV Gods hath spoken: Your favorite-housewife-to-hate Danielle Staub won’t be returning for a third season! What da hellage?!?
But before you start kissing Bravo VP Andy Cohen’s pretty lil’ feet, here’s a rumored twist: Staub could be getting her own spin-off! Run for the flippin’ hills!
While Life & Style claims that the network “fired” Staub and that it “came as a complete shock” to her, a source speaking to Radar Online claims the controversial reality star actually has a new TV venture in the works—which is purportedly going to be produced under the same media group as Bravo.
“It’s going to be a spin-off that’s a combination of her persona that’s loosely based on her ‘Real Housewives’ character and the evolution of where she is now,” says the source. “With Danielle, you either hate her or love to hate her.”
Of course, when asked if the rumor is true, Miss Nemesis spoke in her trademark manner of ambiguity: “Actually, I’m not even thinking about Season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6.”
Bravo is also staying mum and trying to keep our palpitating hearts on the finale and reunion show.
“We haven’t announced anything regarding a 3rd season,” says a rep for the show.
Have your mouths closed yet? If Danielle is jumping ship, will it be the N.J. Housewives’ loss? And does this mean Dina Manzo will bring her enlightened self back?!
