If the ‘Housewives’ ever had any sense, you might wonder what they were thinking half the time.
TV’s top reality trainwreck went off the rails Tuesday when ‘Jersey’ girl Danielle Staub gave a tragicomic performance on a local New York TV station’s morning news program.
‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘ star, who’s reportedly been fired from the gaudy guilty pleasure, sang her new song (featuring her alleged girlfriend Lori Michaels), while dancing with three beefed-up back-up dancers who looked like rejects from a ‘Jersey Shore’ casting call.
The insanity began with silly acrobatics as the fly guys spun each other in the air, followed by Danielle slinking around and ‘singing’–and being hoisted up like a (drag) queen at one point–but the real crazy award may go to the straight-faced anchor who introduced the segment by saying, “Performing her hit song ‘Real Close’ …” (Hit? On what planet?).
