Opening Today: ‘The Last Exorcism,’ ‘Takers,’ ‘Avatar’

Here’s what’s opening in movie theaters this weekend. You can check out a modern take on demonic possession with The Last Exorcism, or you can watch an ensemble cast working all the angles on a heist in Takers. If you’re in the mood for some 3-D, you can actually go watch Avatar: Special Edition in the theaters again with eight extra minutes added on to make it a special edition. In selected cities, you can see Mesrine: Killer Instinct, the first part of Vincent Cassel’s portrayal of an infamous French criminal of the 70s, as well as the epic period piece Centurion, which you can also see on Comcast On Demand right now.
