Robert Rodriguez finally brings us the crazy over-the-top exploitation film he’s promised since he showed a fake trailer for it during Grindhouse. Danny Trejo stars as an ex-federale who has been betrayed, double-crossed and left for dead, and who is now out for vengeful justice against a racist senator (Robert De Niro), his campaign manager (Jeff Fahey), his evil border-control buddy (Don Johnson), and the Mexican crime lord they’re in bed with (Steven Seagal). Fortunately, he has the badass immigrant-smuggler She (Michelle Rodriguez) and INS officer Sartana (Jessica Alba) on his side – not to mention his badass padre brother (Cheech Marin) and a lusty socialite (Lindsay Lohan).
