It’s not hard to figure out which ‘Dancing With the Stars‘ judge Carrie Ann Inaba has called “crazy” and which one she labeled “stodgy.”

In an interview with, the nicer (and clearly saner) of the three panelists said – with a giggle and a twinkle in her eye –  “If I could describe my fellow ‘Dancing with the Stars’ judges in one word… I love you both. First, let me say that. I love you, Len [Goodman]. I love you, Bruno [Tonioli]. But I would say Bruno, crazy. I think we all agree on that one. Love him, but crazy. I would say Len Goodman, stodgy. He’d be proud of me for saying that.

Uh, I don’t think anyone wants to be called “stodgy” – even the uber-confident elder statesman of dancing that is Mr. Len Goodman.

It’s true, though, the ‘DWTS’ judges have been a bit controversial this season so far and we’re only in Week 3. Last week’s Bruno-Gate over the so-called mean comments directed at Michael Bolton will likely have a ripple effect at the judges table for weeks to come.

Think Bruno will tone it down after getting his butt handed to him last week? Will Len put his money where his mouth is and truly be the more supportive one he claims to be? Will Carrie Ann finally step up and say something worth quoting (oh wait, she just did!). Time will tell.
