E! thus far has ordered a pilot for the untitled series, which will follow Boyle “as she splits her time between her life in Texas and her marriage to real estate investor Donald Ray Thomas II and her Hollywood-centric lifestyle in Bel Air,” says Deadline.com.
Does any of that sound compelling to you? Even if we dare to hope for appearances by James Marshall or Eric DaRe (go ahead, IMDb him)?
After all, Boyle seemed to be doing a decent enough job cobbling together guest-starring TV gigs. Following her long run on ‘The Practice’ (where she was nominated for an Emmy), she enjoyed a stint on ‘Las Vegas’ (until her wispy character was literally blown off the roof of a high-rise) and an appearance on ‘Law & Order.’
Interestingly, Boyle is game to wade in the reality-TV waters, yet she didn’t RSVP for ‘Psych’s upcoming ‘Twin Peaks’ riff featuring Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn and Dana Ashbrook. Doesn’t add up.
Does a Lara Flynn Boyle reality show interest you? Keep in mind, it will involve scenes from her marriage to a real estate investor.
