Sarah Palin: former Alaskan governor, former Vice Presidential candidate, and current mama bear?

TLC has released a new clip of Palin’s upcoming 8-part “documentary,”  ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska,’ in which the mother of five encounters a family of bears whilst fishing with her own brood. As another bear encroaches on the mama and her cubs, Palin waxes metaphorical: “What I see in that is what a mom would do, too – anything and everything to lay down her life for her kids.”

If there’s one thing for certain, it’s that Alaska sure does look breathtakingly beautiful in this preview. Could the real impetus for Palin’s participation in this project be promoting tourism in her fair home state? Nah…probably not.
