Perhaps her most notable sketch was the riff on ‘The View,’ which not only addressed the Bill O’Reilly flap with Kenan Thompson’s Whoopi Goldberg calling him “an old-school bully,” but also featured Stone appearing as Lindsay Lohan (“here with special permission from the Betty Ford clinic”), mocking her attempts to stay out of prison.
“I’m way too busy to go to jail,” Stone-as-Lohan said. “I have a career, I’m just going to tell them that. They’ll totally get it.”
Other decent bits included her monologue, in which Taran Killam did a spot-on impression of Michael Cera, Stone’s co-star from Superbad, alongside Bobby Moynihan as Jonah Hill. It’s also a bit hard to forget the Brett Favre “Open Fly Jeans” commercial, Baby Spanx or Paul Brittain’s “Sex” Ed Vincent.
Stone also got to play the pop-star part of Lohan, sort of, with a digital short featuring her preening musically as a girl with a broken arm.
After the concept of “breaking” was mocked in the live episode of ’30 Rock,’ we got to see Bill Hader do it on Weekend Update as his New York club reviewer Stefon. Thompson also showed up as Jimmy McMillan from The Rent Is Too Damn High Party, which was pretty much mandatory given how much fun has been made of him everywhere else.
