‘It’s not me, it’s you’ is pretty much the post-break-up theme for Camille Grammer on the dissolution of her 13-year marriage to her more famous other half, actor Kelsey Grammer.
The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ reality star, who’s now going by her maiden name Donatacci, speculates that Grammer insisted she be on the show so that he could carry out his affair with 29-year-old flight attendant Katye Walsh while working in New York in the Broadway production, ‘La Cage Aux Folles.’ (Walsh miscarried in September.)
“Looking back, maybe he wanted to keep me preoccupied in California while he was off having his affair in New York,” Donatacci tells the New York Post.
According to the ex-Playboy model, she “really didn’t want to do ‘Housewives'” and that “it was more Kelsey’s agenda” for her to be a part of the Bravo spin-off. However, contrary to her claim, some sources say it was actually Donatacci who was forthcoming about starring in the reality show.
Regardless of who’s telling the truth, you’ll see the marital upset unravel in future ‘Housewives’ episodes.
“I don’t respect what he did to me and my family,” she says. “I am not happy with the way it went down. When I signed on, I didn’t think I would be going through a divorce in the middle of a reality show.”
However, she contends Grammer had been her best friend and hopes “when the dust settles we can remain friends.”
The estranged couple have two children together.
‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ airs tonight on Bravo at 10 p.m./EST.
