Dancing With the Stars‘ finalist Bristol Palin has issued an apology for comments made by her sister Willow, and then herself, in response to someone who criticized Mama Grizzly Sarah‘s new TLC series.

Can Reality TV Launch Sarah Palin into the White House?

“Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize,” Bristol said on her Facebook page. “On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!”

Can The Palins Save Television?

The insta-PR nightmare began when a classmate of Willow’s named Tre posted as his Facebook status Sunday night: “Sarah Palin’s Alaska is failing so hard right now.”

Willow responded on Tre’s Facebook wall, “Haha your so gay…. Tre stfu. Your such a f—–t.”

Bristol later chimed in, posting to Tre’s wall, “You’re running your mouth just to talk s–t.”

If only either gal had waited half a day and shoved the ratings report in Tre’s virtual face. But hey, at least Bristol knows the diff between your and you’re. So there’s that.

After a flurry of Facebook exchanges with Tre and other haters, Willow concluded, “Sorry that you guys are all jealous of my families success and you guys aren’t goin to go anywhere with your lives.” She then went on to delete her Facebook page.
