Rachel Uchitel says backlash from the Tiger Woods sex scandal helped fuel the downward spiral that landed her on season four of ‘Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.’

“It is really hard for me to want to go out and be in public,” she admits on tonight’s premiere.

“I feel very judged.  I find that I am becoming a recluse.  I am taking more stuff to go to sleep.  I have no energy in the morning to get up and do things. That is really dangerous for me because that is what killed my father.”

Uchitel – a Bloomberg news producer turned Las Vegas nightclub hostess – reveals that her father died of a cocaine overdose when she was just 15.

“He had become a recluse for the last 3 years of his life.  He didn’t care that he had a family,” she says.

The University of New Hampshire grad says things started to fall apart on September 11, 2001, when her fiancé was killed in the World Trade Center attack.

“That began the rest of my life being completely different,” she says.  “Since that time, my life has spun out of control.  I have gotten in some bad relationships.”

‘Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew’ premieres tonight at 10/9c on Vh1.
