Grab a cupcake to console yourself (then drop and give me twenty!) because a popular reality show is going through a different kind of transformation.
Trainer Jillian Michaels revealed Thursday that she plans to leave “The Biggest Loser” at the end of the upcoming season.
“Season 11 of ‘Biggest Loser’ will be my last :) have to finish out my contract,” Michaels wrote in a message to fans on Twitter.
The tough-talking trainer admits she has a soft spot and wants to focus on her personal life for a while.
“I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work,” she explained, adding: “Shooting ‘Losing It’ also had big impact on me. Living with kids I saw firsthand what I was missing.”
It’s been reported that Michaels, 36, suffers from endometriosis and Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome, conditions that cause fertility issues, so Jillian may have an alternative method in mind to becoming a parent. If anyone can tackle a challenge, it’s this fierce fitness queen!
Fans have enjoyed sitting on the sofa while watching Jillian the drill sergeant whip the overweight into amazing shape on NBC’s hit weight-loss competition since 2004, along with fellow personal trainer Bob Harper.
So who will take over as the Ranch’s resident meanie? Two new trainers will be added to the series, per The Hollywood Reporter, with NBC expected to announce the names next week.
The new butt-kickers will be featured along with Michaels and Harper in some kind of “twist” for Season 11, which is another “couples edition” and debuts in January.
The season finale of ‘The Biggest Loser’ Season 10 airs Dec. 14 on NBC.
