The last thing a dashing film idol wants to deal with is an injury to their face, but that’s exactly what Hugh Jackman received while making a dramatic entrance onto “The Oprah Winfrey Show” Tuesday, according to People.com.

In an “X-Men“-style stunt, Jackman was swinging through the air on a zip-line from atop the Sydney Opera House when things went haywire and Jackman ended up hurting his eye after hitting some lighting equipment.

“That’s gonna swell,” Jackman joked with Oprah after getting fixed up, adding, “I came down waving to everyone, looking over Sydney Harbour, saw my dad, the kids and you, went to pull the brake and then boing.”

Oprah then gave Jackman a glass of red wine in hopes of calming him down, according to USMagazine.com.

Rest assured, Jackman will live to slash villains and perform high kicks on the Broadway stage again, as the injury was minor. In fact, Jackman stuck around to sing “I Still Call Australia Home” for the episode’s finale, being joined by the likes of Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and Olivia Newton-John.
