Anderson Cooper, trash talking his soon-to-be daytime talk show peers? If only in jest, the CNN host took a shot at the hosts of “The View” over their mocking politician John Boehner.

Barbara Walters and her “View” co-hosts made Cooper’s RidicuList — a segment on “AC360” rounding up the most ridiculous people in the news — after they ganged up on Boehner for his seemingly constant crying during interviews.

“Aren’t men always being told now that we’re supposed to be more sensitive, more vulnerable, willing to show emotions?” Cooper asked with a smirk. “Since when did the ladies on ‘The View’ turn into Dr. Evil from ‘Austin Powers’”?

Cooper then went on to play a clip of Mike Meyers character from the ‘Powers’ films to drive his point home about the ladies of ‘The View.’ “Let’s give John Boehner a break and let’s not perpetuate a double standard,” Cooper concluded.
