Fox Cancels ‘The Good Guys’

Fox’s buddy cop drama “The Good Guys“–starring Bradley Whitford and Colin Hanks–has been canceled.

Fox Television Studios confirmed these “Guys” won’t be back for a second season.

The series debuted midseason on Fox and the 20 episodes that aired averaged 3.42 million viewers on Friday nights. The final episode aired December 10th.

While poor ratings is the official culprit, a number of things could have killed the show – the Friday night death slot, the fact that it was set in Texas (like Fox’s ill-fated flop, “Lone Star”), Bradley Whitford’s mustache….
