MTV takes viewers on a journey following overweight teens as they share their personal struggles and triumphs in the new series ‘I Used to be Fat.’ Throughout the series, cameras will capture each individual from the last weeks of high school through the first days of college – a pivotal time for most teens – as they attempt to lose large amounts of weight, ranging from 40 to 100 pounds, and prepare for a fresh start.

This series goes behind-the-scenes of the child beauty pageant circuit and profiles a number of young contestants from all different ages and backgrounds, as well as their passionate and overzealous parents.
