Ahhh, love…so seldom does it nuptialize on ABC’s ‘Bachelor‘ franchise—but Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are defying the odds and are looking to have a yellow-themed monstrosity of a wedding in the spring!
“I would be shocked if they’re not married before 2012, for sure,” host Chris Harrison says about the lovebirds who currently share an apartment in San Diego.
Although you may have caught Ali and Roberto’s guest appearance on Monday night’s “Bachelor” eppy, the two spend most of their time living very normal lives away from the cameras. Ali is currently working as a correspondent at a local Fox news station in San Diego, while Roberto just opened an office for his insurance business.
“What I love is that they’re living their lives,” Harrison tells People. “I try to tell them, ‘Don’t let ‘The Bachelor’ change who you are – just let it enhance what you do.’ … I think those successful couples have been able to do that.”
And apparently, successful couples in the limelight go through a bout of—what we like to call—fluctuating jubilation! Thanks to being so crazy in love, Ali’s gained some additional chunk-age (again), but don’t blast us for saying so—she said it herself!
“He’s sitting there ordering pizzas and eating ice cream, and I’m like, ‘Gimme some!'” the 26-year-old tells Us Magazine about her fast weight gain. “Since then I’ve made a lot of lifestyle changes. I realize it’s not about dieting necessarily, it’s really about making a change in your life.”
Do you get all giddy knowing that Ali and Roberto are making it work—despite their extra consumption of Papa John’s and Baskin Robbins?
