TOP PICK:Being Human‘ (9pm on Syfy) **Series Premiere**

In Syfy’s new original series, leading normal lives is a lot harder than it looks for three paranormal roommates – vampire Aidan (Sam Witwer), ghost Sally (Meaghan Rath) and werewolf Josh (Sam Huntington) – who share their secrets and a Boston brownstone. Together they try their best to be human while navigating the complexities of living double lives. Mark Pellegrino (‘Lost’) co-stars as Bishop, Aidan’s charismatic but menacing vampire mentor.

SERIES PREMIERE:Skins‘ (10pm on MTV)

Created by father and son team Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain, the ground-breaking series ‘Skins’ is about the lives and loves of teenagers and the obligations of friendship. The drama series features an ensemble cast of unknown teenage actors as they navigate complex relationships, the politics of friendship and difficulties of daily life in their formative years. Elsley writes and executive produces the U.S. version, which, like the U.K version, stars and is co-created by young talent.

WATCH:Heavy‘ (10pm on A&E) **Series Premiere**

Twenty-two individuals facing extreme life-threatening health consequences as a result of their obesity experience real life change in the new original series ‘Heavy’. The eleven episode one-hour series follows two participants per episode documenting their incredible transformations during a six month treatment program. Unlike other weight loss series, ‘Heavy’ is not a competition or stunt, but is rooted in the incredible real life day-to-day journeys of the participants during a lengthy treatment program.

DVR:Harry’s Law‘ (10pm ET on NBC) **Series Premiere**

In the premiere episode, once-successful patent attorney Harriet Korn (Kathy Bates) is fired and decides to begin anew with her own practice. With the help of her happy-go-lucky secretary, Jenna (Brittany Snow), she sets up shop in an abandoned shoe store in a rough section of Cincinnati. Her first case is to defend Malcolm Davies (Aml Ameen), a troubled young man, facing his third drug offense.

DVR:The Bachelor‘ (8pm ET on ABC)

Tensions are already mounting among the 17 remaining bachelorettes and resentment runs high when it’s revealed there’ll be two special one-on-one dates – each with a rose at stake – and a group date. And once again, some women will not get a date at all. Ashley S. gets to duet with Brad at the famed Capitol Records studio when a surprise visit by superstar recording artist Seal makes this a once-in-a-lifetime date. Then Brad gets down and dirty with 12 very competitive bachelorettes when they shoot their own action adventure movie, as they battle to become his leading lady.
