Never mind the Packers and Steelers. For some, the Super Bowl just got more interesting with word of a new pairing – Justin Bieber and Ozzy Osbourne. The two music stars, with about four decades between them, partnered on a commercial for Best Buy that will air during the third quarter of the February 6 football spectacle, reports USA Today. The 30-second spot was shot January 17 and marks Best Buy’s first Super Bowl ad. Insiders note the retailer is attempting to use Bieber, who has 20 million Facebook fans and 7 million followers on Twitter, to reposition their “beyond its big-box retailer stereotype,” notes USA Today. “With consumer interest in TV purchases declining even as mobile and tech-related interest grows, Best Buy wants to evolve into more of an Internet technology expert and service provider. And it wants to skew younger.” For his part, Bieber described his shoot with the Prince of Darkness as “epic.” Remember to put Super Bowl XLV on your Watchlist and DVR.
