Decoding the uber successful “Kardashian Brand” was the name of the game on last night’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.”
The new jumpy CNN talk-show host and former “America’s Got Talent” judge remained on his best behavior with reality sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, although it seemed pretty obvious he was absolutely baffled at their fame.
So what do the sisters think about the naysayers who call them “talentless”?
“They might just see us in magazines or see our pictures on blogs or something, and think we’re just spoiled kids that don’t do anything and just run around Hollywood going to parties…” said Kourt, who added that they’re really hardworking business women at their core.
“I would absolutely say that marketing is a skill, and I think fashion as well…I think we are smart enough to know that having a successful reality show is just a platform for people to get to know us on a personal level,” justified Kim. (When she talks about marketing, does that include the act of posting dominatrix bikini-clad Twit pics of herself?)
Despite what haters say, the K-Brand has struck a chord with young peeps, and the sisters have numbers to prove it: Currently, Kimmie’s beating out President Obama and Oprah with over 6 million Twitter followers.
