Troubled star David Arquette will sit down with Oprah Winfrey in his first major interview since completing rehab.
He’s replacing Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who canceled his interview last Thursday with the daytime talk queen, citing “personal reasons.” Vick is on the comeback trail after serving 21 months in prison for dogfighting.
“He said personal reasons. We’re not going to push it,” Winfrey told the Hollywood Reporter.
Last fall, Arquette split from his wife, Courteney Cox, following 11 years of marriage. After a spree of wild episodes, Arquette entered rehab last January 2.
“Oprah’s interview with David airs on February 24,” Harpo rep. Bridgette Maney told UsMagazine.com. “It will be the first he’s given since her recently completed rehab.”
