Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, who’s the meanest “Celebrity Apprentice” of them all? Guess what? It’s not all-time best reality show villain, “Apprentice” season one’s Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.
“I jokingly said, ‘Omarosa is looking like a very nice, very meek person by comparison to some of the people on the show,” Donald Trump told reporters on a press conference call Tuesday.
Of course, he’s talking about “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” hothead NeNe Leakes, who was quick to jump in: “Stop playing, Donald. I’ll buy that because I’ve heard already, like, ‘NeNe, Oh my Gosh are you making Omarosa like an angel?'”
“There are some scenes on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ coming up that I have never seen like them in all of the years I’ve watched television, not just the “Apprentice,” Trump added.
Between Meat Loaf getting in Gary Busey’s face and Leakes getting all up in Star Jones’ grill, and more altercations not yet known, Trump insists this season is the most temperamental yet. “This has been a very volatile group whether it’s Meat Loaf or NeNe, but it’s a certain intelligent volatile at the same time,” he said. “But without question the most volatile group we’ve ever had. It’s been an amazing group of people and I think it’s going to be amazing television.”
Learn Why NeNe Joined “Celebrity Apprentice”:
So, who’s worse? The women or the men? “I think the women are very volatile, but the men have some moments where it’s a little bit scary,” Trump said. “We actually had to call the police force. There was a period of time where it was so crazy that I just sort of snuck out of the room and quietly left and we actually had to call the police. It’s crazy what’s gone on with this show.”
And speaking of crazy: Gary Busey’s on the show. “Gary Busey is a piece of work, I’ll tell you,” said Trump. “I call him the mad genius. He’s a brilliant guy, he’s a great actor, but he is cra-zy.”
But while the promos show Meat Loaf threatening to put Busey in the hospital, the rock star says the two are still friends. “I don’t believe I came out with enemies. That’s just how I roll,” said Meat Loaf.
The same can’t be said for Leakes and Jones, though. “I definitely came out with friends and enemies and I’m okay with it. Yes everybody knows that I get in Star’s face. I’m not afraid to get in anybody’s face,” says Leakes.
“Star will never love Nene, I’ll tell you that,” added Trump.
The crazy beings as season four of “Celebrity Apprentice” kicks off this Sunday, March 6 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
