Kevin Frazier has been named the new co-host of “The Insider,” joining Lara Spencer.
Frazier joined “Entertainment Tonight” in 2004, as correspondent and weekend co-anchor. He previously hosted ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” “NBA Shoot Around” and “Fastbreak Tuesday.”
“Kevin has been an integral part of the ET/Insider family for seven years. He is one of the most respected correspondents in entertainment news with incredible sources and connections that will be put to good use as co-anchor of ‘The Insider’,” said Bell Blue.
Previous “Insider” co-host Chris Jacobs will now serve as a correspondent for “Entertainment Tonight,” it was also announced.
Frazer becomes the first African-American to host a weekday syndicated entertainment newsmagazine in three decades, since Ahmad Rashad anchored “ET,” Deadline.com noted.
