While fans may have hoped otherwise, John Stamos says he’s not gunning for Charlie Sheen’s spot on “Two and a Half Men.”

“I don’t want to replace anyone, especially Charlie Sheen,” the 47-year-old Stamos told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show Friday. “It’s just not where my head’s at.”

Though no official casting decision has been made on who will replace the fired Sheen, Stamos calls the talk “flattering.”

“Nobody has officially talked to me and, quite frankly, as flattering as it is…it’s really not part of my career plan right now. I’m just on a different trajectory,” Stamos told Seacrest. “I’m ready to have my own show. My head isn’t going in to replace somebody.”

And that’s just fine with Sheen, who expressed his disapproval of the casting rumor to Access Hollywood. “I like John, but he doesn’t have what I have and the show sucks if he’s on it,” Sheen said of the former “Full House” star.

Charlie Sheen Sues Lorre, Warner Bros. for $100 Million

Fired from the series March 7, Sheen, who made $1.2 million per episode of the CBS show, is suing Warner Bros. Television and Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre for a whopping $100 million. The unemployed actor, 45, is demanding he be compensated for the eight cancelled episodes from the current season — and is also suing on behalf of the sitcom’s crew.

“They’re trying to destroy my family, so I take great umbrage with that,” Sheen said prior to his termination. “And defeat is not an option,” he said. “They picked a fight with a warlock.”
