The show will have to go on without Piers Morgan.

The buzzer-happy judge of “America’s Got Talent” was 50 minutes away from arriving in Minneapolis for live auditions Wednesday when his Delta Airlines flight was turned around and sent back to New York due to snow.

None too happy about the extra frequent flier miles, Morgan immediately took to Twitter to slam the airline and vent his anger:

* “Someone told me DELTA stands for ‘Don”t Ever Leave The Airport.’ Not correct. They leave, then come back again.”

* “Pilot: ‘Good news is we’ll be on the ground in about 25 mins.’ Yes, but it’s the wrong ground, isn’t it my friend? The WRONG BLOODY GROUND.”

* “’The pilot would like you now to turn off your devices.’ Really? Well I’d like the pilot to turn round and get me to Minneapolis.”

*”On a positive note, I’m back in the Delta lounge I was first in at 6am, and they changed the cheese from Philadelphia to Chedda.”

While Delta did not return our call for comment, the airline seemed to take notice of Morgan’s tweets and promised to look in to the matter.

They then booked him on a different flight to Minneapolis, which after a brief flight delay, was also scrapped.

Tryouts for the summer’s top rated show – which returns May 31 – were scheduled for 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM CST Wednesday and Thursday.

In addition to “Talent,” Morgan is also scheduled to do a special live episode of his CNN show tonight in tribute to the late Elizabeth Taylor.

But he still has time to keep up the friendly banter with fellow ‘AGT’ judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne.

“Happiest man in America right now – @howiemmandel,” Morgan joked.

“Breaking News,” Osbourne tweeted back.  “we’ll still be in charge when you get here.”
