Last night’s “Biggest Loser” went beyond the Kleenex tissue kind of cry we’re used to when the ranch said goodbye to 22-year-old cherub-faced Courtney Crozier. (Think: Niagara Falls waterworks.) Originally over 400 lbs and the heaviest female contestant on the ranch, Courtney inspired everyone by her unflinching resolve, maturity, and confidence. She formed a special bond with trainer Bob Harper before even getting on the show and proved she was the real deal, losing over 100 lbs. at home and then another 92 lbs. at the ranch.
Unfortunately, the end of the road for Courtney become evident when she started experiencing a plateau in her weight loss during the past few weeks. Although she and new trainer Brett Hoebel used everything in their arsenal to break through it, sadly, their efforts were a no go. Since she was the last surviving red team member, not only did she leave, but he had to exit along with her. Sheesh, talk about a double whammy!
