Cast Of ‘Glee’ Gets NYC Welcome From Mayor

NEW YORK – The cast of “Glee” is in New York City this week to film its second season finale.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg welcomed the stars of the Fox television show Monday with a press conference outside the Gershwin Theater, one of the filming locations.

In the final episode, the students in the New Directions glee club will compete at nationals in New York City. The actors will be filming all week long at Central Park, Lincoln Center and other famous city landmarks. Dozens of fans lined up Monday to get a glimpse of them.

The season finale airs May 24 at 9 p.m. Eastern.
