Dancing with the Stars” judge Bruno Tonioli has always pushed the envelope when it comes to provocative comments. But while we’ve become used to his overtly sexual comments over the years, most think he truly crossed the line into downright dirty on Monday night’s show. And Karina Smirnoff, the latest object of his dirtiness, couldn’t agree more.

“DWTS” Recap: Who Will Make the Finals?

Missed it? Well, the pro dancer, who performed a sexy Salsa in a cat suit, was on the receiving end of this nasty double entendre from Bruno: “You were too rough on your p****, darling.” Karina immediately reacted, turning away, and looking disgusted as the audience booed and everyone backstage gasped.

Karina and partner Ralph Macchio – who could be going home tonight as they landed at the bottom of the leaderboard again – were still outraged over the incident when the spoke to press after the show.

Here’s what Ralph and Karina thought about the incident…

How do you feel after tonight’s performance?
Karina: Dirty. We’ve never expected the judges to be on our side. They’ve haven’t been on our side for most of the season, but it was just inappropriate and rude and uncalled for.

Did Bruno say anything to your afterwards?
Karina: No. He wouldn’t make eye contact though [laughs], which was really interesting.
Ralph: That was just an unprofessional thing to do. I thought the performances were great. We had a couple of days and I nursed my injury at the start of the week. The tango I thought was sharp to start. We made a choice. I’ve seen this show do it a thousand times. It was a bad joke by him.

Bruno tries to be funny.
Karina: And maybe he shouldn’t.

Do you think judges are against you guys for some reason?
Karina: I honestly, truly think it’s personal because there’s no reason it had happened the way it did. We worked our butts off and we truly really on our fans. We love dancing together. We love going to the studio and this is like the anti-climatic moment of the whole thing which kind of sucks but at the end of the day, we have the most beautiful memories, the most fun memories to share and that’s what we thrive on.

Did something personal happen?
Karina: No. I actually gave Carrie Ann a compliment because I thought her hair looked really beautiful right before the show. I should’ve said something else!

Karina, just to clarify everything is okay with Bruno?
Karina: I was shocked that it is a family show and that’s what the show thrives on, to be a family show, but to have a comment especially when it wasn’t bleeped for the East Coast when kids are watching. [Note: It was bleeped on the East Coast.]
