Showtime’s “Weeds” won’t be short on guest stars next season…

Martin Short and Aidan Quinn are among the guest stars for the upcoming season, which will be rocked by a three-year time jump in the storyline and feature the Botwins re-locating to New York City.

Season 7 picks up with our marijuana mama (Mary-Louise Parker) having just completed a three-year stint in Federal prison (refresher: in last season’s cliffhanger, Nancy surrendered to the Feds for the murder of Pilar Zuazo). Now on probation, Nancy will have to “re-start the business from scratch,” while being strictly monitored in a halfway house. All the boys — Andy, Silas, Shane and Doug — will join her in the Big Apple, stirring up “major trouble,” of course.

Short has signed on for at least three episodes as an eccentric attorney; Quinn is in as charasmatic investment firm CEO for at least four episodes. Jennifer Jason Leigh, who plays Nancy’s estranged sister Jill, also returns for four episodes. Lindsay Sloane (“Grosse Pointe”) also joins the cast for a six-episode arc as a conceptual artist who becomes involved with Andy (Justin Kirk).

The new season of “Weeds” premieres Monday, June 27 at 10 p.m./EST on Showtime.
