Ready or not, here she comes – again. Who? Paris Hilton – who else?

She’s been fascinating most (or maybe just some) of us for about 15 years – since she herself was about 15 – and now, at age 30, Paris is poised to launch her third TV series. It’s a reality series, natch, called “The World According to Paris,” and it makes its debut next Wednesday (June 1) at 10 p.m./9c on Oxygen.

How real is this reality show? Well, like everyone else who has ever launched a reality show, Paris says it’s the real deal, insisting to Jay Leno on Friday’s “Tonight Show” on NBC that nothing was off-limits to the show’s camera crew, including at least one scene of Paris in a bathtub.

That sounds “real” enough, but it was clear from Ms. Hilton’s interview with Jay that her “reality” and our reality are not exactly the same thing. For one thing, her dogs (and a pet pig) have a house that looks fancier and bigger than the homes most of us live in.

Paris and Jay talked about her luxe doghouse in Part 1 or their interview here:

When we caught Paris’ appearance on “The Tonight Show,” we realized we hadn’t seen her on “Tonight” in years. And in fact, Jay Leno’s jokes about her over the years have been so barbed that it was easy to conclude that he didn’t care for her personally. However, there wasn’t any sign of any acrimony between the two on Friday’s show, in which Jay asked her about what it feels like to be the butt of so many late-night monologue jokes. “All the comics do Paris Hilton jokes,” he said. “Does it bother you?”

So, how real is this new “reality” show? Jay showed a clip from a scene in which Paris’ boyfriend, Cy Waits, gets upset when he finds a text message on her phone from a former flame.
