‘Ice Road Trucker’ Arrested for Hitting Wife

Gregory Boadwine, who appeared on last season’s “Ice Road Truckers,” chilled in a Polk County Florida jail Friday after being arrested for allegedly beating his wife. According to TMZ, which first reported the incident and quoted liberally from the police report, Boadwine “elbowed” his wife while having an argument and the physical violence escalated from there. “Cops say the woman shoved Greg back … but he retaliated by grabbing her by the throat and shoving her into a door in the kitchen,” reported TMZ. “The fight finally came to an end when Greg’s wife’s 9-year-old son screamed at the couple to “Stop fighting” … and the couple obliged.” Boadwine’s profile on the History Channel’s website has been removed, but it described the driver as “”a gregarious, down-to-earth guy who is not afraid to piss someone off” and “a man with an attitude.” The fifth season of “Ice Road Truckers” premieres Sunday, June 5, on History Channel at 9 pm.
