Throughout his long and handsome career, ‘Parks and Recreation’ star Rob Lowe has seemed like a real lady killer. Now, he’ll be playing an alleged murderer in his next project. According to Deadline Hollywood, Lowe will be starring in a Lifetime film based on the story of Chicago-area cop Drew Peterson, who has been charged with the death of his third wife after his fourth mysteriously vanished. The project, which will also star ‘Big Bang Theory’ Kaley Cuoco, is tentatively titled ‘The Drew Peterson Story.’ It will reportedly explore the cases of both Peterson’s spouses, which became a national media sensation in the spring of 2010 after his fourth wife, Stacy, disappeared. His previous wife, Kathleen, had been found dead in her bathtub in 2004. Although originally deemed an accident, her death was later ruled a homicide. Deadline Hollywood says the two actors will shoot the movie this summer, while their sit-coms are on hiatus. Meanwhile, the real Peterson remains in jail awaiting trial.
