Considering he’s not a literary genius himself, CNN host Anderson Cooper has been green with envy over the fact that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is now a New York Times Bestselling author with her masterpiece, A Shore Thing, which debuted in January of this year.
“So what led Snooki from the jacuzzi of shame to the world of Alice Walker and Salman Rushdie?” he rhetorically asked on his “RidicuList” segment Tuesday night. “Talent. Raw, tanned talent.”
Upon hearing that the “Jersey Shore” star’s publisher Simon & Schuster is working with her on a second book, currently titled Gorilla Beach, The Coop pushed his pride aside and “reassessed” his views of the Mini Me by reading excerpts from A Shore Thing—with some hot smush-worthy beats in tow.

However, just like one of the chapter titles in Snooki’s book—called “Karma Is a B*tch, B*tch”—AC’s literary theatrics is getting some heat from a TV personality at a Fox station in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Derek James, who’s host of the morning show, Wake the F**k Up, Charlotte, claims the CNN host stole his idea of mocking the unusually orange moneymaker via dramatic readings of her book, reports Gawker. Apparently, he’s demanding Cooper give him credit for it.
Sounds like AC’s got his “RidicuList” covered for another day.
