Rumors swept across the TV landscape Wednesday like triple digit temperatures heating up the country. The outspoken Osbourne is a cornerstone of the CBS talk show and her departure would be leave a gaping hole in the conversation.

Fortuantely the shocking story proved untrue – and that’s straight from the rock matriarch herself.

“I am absolutely not leaving,” she told us after Wednesday night’s live broadcast of “America’s Got Talent.

But Osbourne – who co-hosts the CBS chat show with Sarah Gilbert, Leah Remini, Julie Chen and Holly Robinson-Peete – says she does intend to take a few weeks off this fall to be with her family.

Sharon, who recently celebrated her 29th wedding anniversary, admits her entire family is only together “very rarely.”

“One of us is always off doing something else,” she says. “But with Ozzy, when he tours, I am usually with him, at his side. But since I have been doing ‘The Talk’ I haven’t been able to travel with him. Right now, he is on an 18 month tour.”

During their time apart, the couple relies on the internet to stay connected.

“We Skype and text each other every day,” Sharon says. “Ozzy is now addicted to texting!”
