The names keep rolling in for possible contenders for lucky Season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars” and the latest rumor has one of the most recognizable names in sports on the tip of the casting directors’ tongues.

Ron Artest, known for being in the center of the infamous Pacers-Pistons brawl in 2004 and for a well-documented domestic violence arrest in 2007, is reportedly in talks with the show to give the dance floor a try, according to TMZ.

However, the Los Angeles Lakers defensive player might not be able to make it work if the NBA lockout ends before “Dancing” is through. Basketball season normally starts in October, while “Dancing with the Stars” runs from September through November.

At a whopping 6′ 7″, the only “Dancing with the Stars” mate we can see him matched up with would be Kym Johnson, the tallest of the pros who clocks in at 5’7″.

Other names in the rumor mill include: Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, two Kardashians – Robert and Khloe, Ricki Lake, Shaquille O’Neal, Nick Jonas, “Bachelorette” Ashley Hebert, Queen Latifah, Donnie Wahlberg, Disney’s Bridget Mendler, Regis Philbin, Mike Tyson, Christina Milian, Dina Lohan, and Melissa Gilbert.

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 13 kicks off  September 19 on ABC.
