Kirstie Alley is dancing back to ABC. After a successful run this spring on “Dancing with the Stars,” not to mention an impressive weight loss, the 60-year-old actress is reuniting with the network for a new sitcom.

ABC is set to order a pilot for “The Manzanis,” with Alley attached to star and sitcom alums Marco Pennette (“Desperate Housewives,” “Samantha Who?”) and Dave Flebotte (“Desperate Housewives,” “Will & Grace”) on board as executive producers.

The multi-camera family comedy is described, according to Deadline, as “a new take on Roseanne, and stars Alley as a very opinionated wife/mother who, along with her family, the Manzanis, moves to repressed country club town.”
