It looks like Nick Cannon will be sticking around NBC just a little bit longer. The host of “America’s Got Talent” has just been hired to play a co-host on the network’s upcoming comedy, “Up All Night,” according to TVGuide.com. In the series, which debuts this fall and stars Christina Applegate and Will Arnett as new parents, Cannon will reportedly play the popular co-host/sidekick to insecure talk show host Maya Rudolph. “Up All Night” will actually get a special launch following the season finale of “America’s Got Talent” on Sept. 14. The show then moves to its’ regular 8 p.m. time slot the following week.
