Well here’s something that doesn’t make much dollars and sense. A recent bidder on A&E’s “Storage Wars” paid $400 for a locker containing an old trunk that just happened to be filled with $24,000 in bills. Not a bad deal! But here’s the weird part – all of the bills were missing faces.

Laura Dotson, the auction company boss, confirmed the bizarre news to TMZ. Although it’s unclear why the locker’s previous owner would remove all the U.S. President’s heads from the money, it’s still considered legal tender. According to the Treasury Department, as long as the serial numbers are intact and the bills pass a series of tests, they’re perfectly usable.

Now in its second season, “Storage Wars” follows bidders as they attempt to win the contents of abandoned storage lockers, often with little or no advance knowledge of what lies inside.
