Video Rewind: Watch Steve Jobs Unveil the iPad 2

Steve Jobs resigned Wednesday as CEO of Apple, the company he co-founded in a garage in 1976. The news has stunned and saddened all those who have admired Jobs’s accomplishments and acumen as a tech visionary who has helped shape and influence personal technology. Jobs has battled cancer for several years. A statement from the reclusive executive cast a gloomy shadow. “I have always said that if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s C.E.O., I would be the first to let you know,” Mr. Jobs said in a letter released by the company. “Unfortunately, that day has come.” But earlier this year Jobs was on hand to unveil the iPad 2. Take a look at this video of the gaunt but dynamic man doing what he loved – unveiling new technology.
