Katie Couric is making her debut at ABC News tonight with a one-on-one interview with actress Sarah Jessica Parker (“Sex and the City”), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The sitdown will air on Tuesday’s “Nightline.”

Parker will be promoting her new film, “I Don’t Know How She Does It,” costarring Greg Kinnear and Pierce Brosnan.

She’ll also be discussing her role as a parent; Parker is mom to son James Wilkie, age 8, and to two-year-old twin daughters (delivered via surrogate), Loretta and Tabitha.

“They’re the source of my joy,” Parker says.

Couric left her post at the anchor desk of CBS News in June. She launches a new daytime program, titled “Katie,” at ABC in fall 2012. As part of her overall deal, which will find Couric contributing to multiple ABC properties, Couric recently appeared as guest co-host of ABC’s “The View” and she’ll also be contributing to ABC News’ coverage of the upcoming tenth anniversary of 9/11.
