Life will go on for Kate Gosselin, but that doesn’t mean she won’t worry about it.
Now that her reality show “Kate Plus 8” has been canceled, the single mother of eight is concerned about how she will provide for her family.
“I’m freaking out. Big time,” Gosselin, 36, tells People in their latest cover story.
Kate also claims that her eight kids, a pair of twins and a set of sextuplets, “weren’t ready” for the show to end.
“Nobody was. I’ve never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don’t know what’s next,” she says.
It’s not exactly the same tune Kate was chirping right after TLC announced in August they were done with the Gosselin clan. “We’ve had a great run!” and “We are looking forward with great anticipation to our bright future!” were among the comments she tweeted at the time.
Whatever does come next for the notorious TV mom, you can bet Mama Gosselin won’t be going away without a fight.
“I told them [the kids] I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school,” Kate says. “There are no guarantees in life for anyone, but they know that I’m giving it my best shot.”
The final episode of “Kate Plus 8” airs next Monday, Sept. 12, on TLC.
