‘Fox and Friends’ Host Poses ‘Racial’ Question About Serena Williams

While many have found Serena Williams‘ recent tennis tantrum to be in poor taste, “Fox and Friends” host Gretchen Carlson took her criticism a step further by questioning whether Williams’ weekend outburst had a “racial undertone.” (Williams berated the official of her losing U.S. Open game, calling the umpire a “hater” and “just unattractive inside.” She was subsequently fined $2,000.) “This is what’s wrong with our society today,” Carlson said on Monday’s episode of the Fox News show. “That’s the entitlement generation right there.” She went on to call Williams’ behavior “sick.” “…And a ‘hater?'” she continued. “I mean, was that a racial undertone?
