If you thought it was odd how “The Talk” remained silent and completely ignored its sweeping cast changes this season, you aren’t the only ones.

When Season 2 recently debuted, nobody mentioned the elephant in the room – co-hosts Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete had been fired and replaced by Kris Jenner and Sheryl Underwood.

Rosie O’Donnell also thinks it was strange, and she said so on Twitter.

“Will they address the fact the Leah and Holly r [sic] gone — it’s totally weird to pretend nothing happened,” she wrote. Adding the obvious questions everyone has: “how did THE TALK address the new cast? and the missing ones?”

They addressed it by sweeping it under the “Talk” table, I guess. Maybe Julie Chen thought no one would notice? It’s rumored that Chen is the one running the show (and her husband’s running the network) – and the force behind the cast firings. Read “Talk Show Wars” for more on that one.

Regardless of the talk behind “The Talk,” we’re glad the opinionated Miss Rosie O is back in the talk-show arena this fall. Because that will give us all something to talk about.

The Rosie Show” premieres Monday, October 10 at 7 p.m. on OWN.
