‘Housewife’ Taylor Talks to Dr. Phil, Blames Reality TV for Husband’s Suicide

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Taylor Armstrong is making the media rounds to discuss the recent suicide of her husband, Russell Armstrong, who hung himself with an electrical cord at his friend’s house in L.A. on August. 15.

In an interview with Dr. Phil, which airs Thursday, the 40-year-old widow admits that she believes the exposure of being in the spotlight contributed to the venture capitalist’s demise.

“I can’t say what he was thinking at the time [of his death], but what I can say is that I believe that if it weren’t for the cameras, there’s a chance I wouldn’t be sitting here with you today,” Taylor told Dr. Phil.

Earlier this week, the reality star spoke to “E.T.,” highlighting the years of physical abuse she endured from her husband’s erratic temper.

Taylor’s interview with Dr. Phil airs today on CBS at 3pm ET.
